Nighthawks Welcome Storm Talent to Kezar

The San Francisco Nighthawks will host the California Storm in WPSL action at Kezar Stadium Sunday, June 4th beginning at 4:00pm.

The Storm, based in Sacramento, carry a wealth of talent on their roster, including such notables as former WUSA stars Sissi, Brandi Chastain, Sarah Kate Noftsinger, Tiffany Roberts, Betsy Barr and Keri Sanchez, as well as U.S. National Team player Shannon Macmillan and Mexican National Team players, Monica Gonzales and Alma Martinez.

The Storm currently boast 2 wins and 1 tie. They defeated Sonoma County FC Sol 1-0, FC Sacramento Pride 4-0 and tied San Diego WFC SeaLions 0-0.

The Nighthawks are made up primarily of current and former college players from schools such as UC Berkeley, Stanford, SFSU, USF, San Diego State and Penn State among others.

The Hawks have 2 wins and 3 losses so far. They defeated FC Sacramento Pride 3-2 and the Las Vegas Tabagators 1-0. They lost by small margins to Lamorinda East Bay Power 2-5, Sonoma County FC SOL 1-2 and Lamorinda East Bay Power 0-2.
