Hawks Proud of Chivas Rebels

San Francisco, CA - The Mission Youth Soccer League’s MSC JC Chivas Rebels U-14 Girls Class 3 team (the Hawks little sisters), wearing uniforms provided by the Nighthawks and the San Francisco Parks & Rec Trust, won the Chuck Powers Winter Classic Tournament in Fresno, CA over the Lodi Navigators in a shootout, 4-2. The Chivas Rebels have been together for three short years and only became a Class 3 team this year. Two years ago the Rebels lost to eventual Class 4 Champion at the CYSA State Tide Cup in the quarter finals. Last year they won they won it.
During the recent season, the Chivas Rebels were finalists at the Halloween Invitational Tournament in Hayward, CA and took 3rd at the Almaden Classic Tournament in Livermore, CA. Currently, the team is preparing for CYSA-N's Association Cup where they are seeded #1 out of 60 teams. In March 2005, the Nighthawks began a partnership with the Mission Youth Soccer League as a 'Big Sister' team. The MYSL was founded in 1992.
